Butt weld reducers are used to connect 2 pieces of steel pipes with different sizes. So one end is large, the other end is small. Depending on the centre of circle is same line, there are two types, one is butt weld concentric reducers, the other is butt weld eccentric reducers. Carbon steel concentric reducer is a common used of pipe fittings. The color is black. After sand blast, they will be painted. The material for galvanized reducers are carbon steel too. Using hot dipped galvanized can prevent rust. Manufacturing standard of these butt weld tees are ASME/ANSI B16.9, if you have special requirements, pls kindly advise in advance, thanks.
